He is a Fraud Panel Supervisor with the proven ability and experience to defend the most complex and serious cases brought by organisations such as Her Majestys Revenue & Customs and the Serious Fraud Office. Nicola Carter

Nicola Carter is a Partner and Solicitor with the firm. Nicola has considerable experience in the field of serious crime with particular experience in murder and drugs cases; further expertise lies in the representation of professional and business people under investigation and post charge. Nicola′s speciality lies in the defence of fraud including VAT frauds and in particular the widely publicised MTIC (Missing Traders Intra Community) frauds in which hundreds of millions of pounds worth of alleged fraudulent activity must be meticulously considered and interpreted. It does not matter how serious or complex a case may be, Nicola is at her best when pitched against the Serious Fraud Office, HM Revenue & Customs or the Serious & Organised Crime Agency and she is always willing and ready to fight her clients′ cases.

Gareth Martin

Partner & Head of Police Station/Magistrates` Court Department

Gareth Martin is a Partner and Solicitor with the firm, having completed a law degree at Queens University Belfast. Trained in house Gareth has gained a wealth of knowledge and experience under the guidance of Steve and Nicola in general crime and the specialist areas of fraud and business crime. Gareths passion, however, is police station and Magistrates Court work and as such he regularly represents clients from the outset of a criminal investigation in matters ranging from criminal damage to offences involving public order, firearms and serious violence including sexual offences and murder. He is at his best working on serious criminal cases, such as gangland murders, and is well known for fighting for his clients and the strength of his defence in court and the police station.

Arthur Mould

Consultant

Arthur is a duty Solicitor and an exceptional advocate who regularly appears in the Magistrates′ Court dealing with first appearances right the way through to conducting trials.
